Versatile Tile – Printing Pansies: Rya Jewel #5

Printing Pansies has been my favourite pastime since 2018. If you have a moment with a piece of fabric a, pansy and a hammer, have a go and I promise you will be beguiled. I remember planting my first pansy garden before disappearing off to Copenhagen for a wintry march weekend. when I came home I filled a 2 metre cloth, just with pansy flowers. Rya Jewel #5 is reprinted directly from that cloth. The indigo star is an aquilegia. Pansy’s will always sit like rare gems in my work, because no print is ever the same. It shouldn’t be: every single petal is always slightly different.

You will receive a tile with a stamped cork back unattached. This gives you the option to use the tile as you wish. Versatile Tiles can be used as a normal tile: fix it to walls or create a unique surface on any piece of furniture. The choice is yours!
