The Mood Indigo #1 came from a scrap of fabric soaked in calcium carbonate. The Pansies love the neon of a chalk bath. This cloth had it all: strong abstract shapes and depth of colour. See the vivid sweep of the petals swimming across the face of the mug, as if aware that the hammer is flattening them into new life.
