Cwtch Facecloth – Wild Ones; Lime Floral

Description

This soft microfibre facecloth features a digitised print taken from an original flower‑pounded textile created in my Norfolk studio. Real petals were hammered into cloth to release their natural pigments, producing the organic shapes and gentle colour shifts seen in the design. The artwork is reproduced with crisp detail on a smooth microfibre surface that is gentle on the skin and suitable for daily cleansing. The cloth dries quickly and packs small for travel. It is washable at 40°C and keeps its colour with regular use.

The design offers a contemporary botanical look with a direct link to natural materials through its flower‑pounded origin.

Story

This flower printed a vivid lime green. It is a tiny segment of a much larger wild cloth treated with calcium carbonate to brighten the colours. This often shifts the natural pigments into neon. The intensity can be vividly bright. This is an instance it is chlorophyll green and yellow that has emerged from the natural chemistry.
