Design Story

The Kimono collection is created from repeated fragments of the kimono floral cloth. These designs are dynamic collages of pansy, geranium, poppy and verbena petals. I have carefully picked out each image from the original lyrical work and broken them into a series of vibrant close images that capture the vibrancy of the pigment and the vitality of the shapes working with and against each other. Product Description

Kimono #16 is a ceramic tile featuring a digitised flower pounded geranium artwork arranged in a mirrored four part layout. The design shows large geranium impressions in violet purple, plum red, ink blue and muted yellow green, with soft blended edges created during the hammering process. The natural pigment marks and textured petal shapes remain visible in the high resolution print, giving the tile a distinctive botanical character. The smooth ceramic surface highlights the colour variation and symmetrical pattern, making it suitable for display, gifting or use as a decorative accent in the home. Durable and easy to clean, it offers a lasting way to showcase hand‑made botanical artwork.

You will receive the Ceramic Tile and an adhesive cork sticker with a Flowerghost Stamp. This enables you to choose how you use your tile. My Tiles can be used as coasters or on other surfaces including walls.
