This design is close to my heart and I hope you feel the same intimacy with its vibrant primary shades. It was the first print that gave me the “wow!” shivers when it came off my heat press last Autumn. If I told you that these perfect petals came from the tiniest piece of calico fabric only 4 inches square would you believe me? If I also told you that small scrap of summer has provided so many variations of the same design, you would think I was telling stories. But I have no need to. The journey of my fabric is completely true. Pounded last year in the height of summer with petals left over from a very joyful workshop, this design completely reflects the moment it was made.
